Traditionally, with landscapes, I worked in soft pastels, oils or watercolors.
Using my Painter program, I select a paper surface, and then create an
underpainting which looks like an abstract. When satisfied with the color
balance, I then start painting with digital pastels, oils or watercolors or
other esoteric digital medium brushes.
